Time Clock for Attendance
Manu Online includes a built-in time clock for operator attendance. It runs as a kiosk-style terminal — typically positioned at a factory gate or workshop entrance — and records when each operator is on the premises.
Clock-ins can be made by entering a user code, scanning a barcode, or selecting a name from a list. Because the clock card system is part of the same platform as your work orders, attendance data lines up directly with the time recorded against jobs at each work cell.
What it gives you
- A simple, single-purpose kiosk view that is safe to leave running on the shop floor.
- Barcode scanning for quick clock-in and clock-out without keyboard or mouse.
- One source of truth for "who was on site, and when" for payroll and reporting.
- Direct alignment with work-order start/pause/stop events, so attendance and productive time can be compared.
How it fits with the rest of Manu Online
The time clock is part of the production module — the same place where work orders, work cells and the production planner live. That means clock data can be reviewed alongside work-order activity rather than living in a separate system that has to be reconciled at month end.
For more on how time and barcoding work together at the cell level, see the Production article.
